Oscar Deen Morris Sunglasses: Treacle/Olive

Founded by two friends Oscar Phillips and Sheriff-Deen, Oscar Deen was born out of a desire to make unique eyewear with true heritage. Scouring warehouses, street markets and antique stores these two have been on a mission to source less celebrated shapes and finishes from yesteryear to reimagine them for modern day wear.

• Found: London, Kings Cross The Morris Family, our favourite collectors. Their shop is full of charm and treasure. Fonts of knowledge and always happy to help. They drop in on the Morris for classic frames, into and tea whenever in the area.
• Inspiration: Uniquely the Morris is inspired by two frames instead of one. His and hers, 1950's American vintage 'Safety Series'.
• Now: From his and hers to something for everyone. They moved the hard lines of the his frame 'inside' and increased the lens depth. The elegant lines of the hers' frame inspire the silhouette, with a slightest brow incline borrowed from German design.

All Oscar Deen  frames are made from Mazzucchelli acetate. They're Italian and have been top of the game since 1849. While our lenses are made from organic plastic. A combination of light-weight and optical clarity.
